"No Father of the Year Award for You"

Films: Eyes Without a Face (1960)

Alias: None

Type: Natural

Location: Civilized Area/Haunted Home

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: You'll notice that this movie's plot is eerily similar to that of "Atom Age Vampire". But fret not, for it does not matter which one came first. This one is better because there are actual stakes, and the villain is a bit less two-dimensional.

History: A master surgeon, Dr. Genessier has been trying for quite some time to find the perfect face to graft onto his heavily-disfigured daughter, Christiane. The girl has to wear a white mask in order to conceal her face, and the faces that she's given don’t last very long. Genessier finds himself having to bring many to their doom to keep her beautiful.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After Christiane becomes disillusioned with her father's unethical methods of keeping her looking good, she releases a bunch of neglected hounds to tear him apart, which they do instantly. Christiane just walks away, apathetic to everything now.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-Dr. Alberto Levin needed just fluid from women to keep his love beautiful. Genessier needs whole faces to do so. Which one sounds more horrific?

Trivia: -In 1962, this film was re-edited and released in America as "The Horror Chamber of Dr. Faustus".

-Dr. Genessier was played by Pierre Brasseur, an actor known for playing in many famous French works, and even landing a role in Igor Stravinsky’s "Oedipus Rex".

She seems a bit bored with her father's misdeeds.

Behind every mask, a story must be told.

"It's not easy being the man I've become."
Oh, yeah. This was a double feature.

Even the posters wanted to reveal this man's fate.

The mask is clean, but it's origin is NOT.

Let's get this story started...

Typical day for Genessier.

What is this I don't even.

I guess we're in her mind now.

We'll leave with the final shot as the good doctor gets torn apart.
